Am back again!
Not sure how many would see this, given that am writing well after about 20 months.... well you know how life is :) but then i thought this is something i should continue doing.
It was a pretty long weekend, what with me taking off on thursday too...so all of 4 days. While we had made grand plans of a trip out of town, the usual super rounds of planning with our good friends and their families put paid to those hopes. And when we finally decided it would be just 2 of us, and we had even put the dogs in the kenel, came the news that much of South India will be pouring over the weekend. We decided to call off the road trip on thursday morning.
And then there was that movie on thursday evening. Waky Up Sid! well.... when Dolly, who was seated next to me said that men always run first to a woman (that was when the Kapoor boy leaves home and runs to the Sen woman), that kinda summed up the movie, it was an inane act of a kid trying to be a man and a woman trying to live below her age, or some thing like that! just about an OK movie. It sure was a big gang of us with all the kids etc... about 12-14 of us? then those yummy phulkas, dhal, egg burji and whatever else we ordered at Desmond's place after the movie...
Man and the parties continued all thru friday and saturday.. sunday was quite peaceful tho... all day at home. And then the dreadful day started today... Redman meetings got cancelled and i could do my own things today. Postponed the inevitable by a day till tomorrow... tomorrow it should be. I can already perceive the change expected.. i can feel ittt.. :)
