Long time no see!!
Phew!! what was it? 2 1/2 weeks?? was it hectic or what??
As they say, i have been there and done that in these days!! It was Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, back home, 2 days, then goa, 3 great days and back home on monday the 11th!!
Las Vegas as they say was - what happens in vegas stays in vegas...well nuthin much happened except got drunk everyday, gambled first time in life.. quite a bit tho. It was fun... blackjack... 1 or 2 visits to some naughty places... sorry guys no pics... its really a surreal place... you should all go there once....
Weekend in san francisco wasnt great!! my mood was down for what had happened back home, and it was muggy weather... landed friday evening and went to the bar in main westin... XYZ, name of the place... i was at westin market place, 2 blocks down the street... met these two kids from mountains... both landscape architects...had few laughs..went and slept at 12... spent almost the whole day in the room... went out for a walk to union square, and went to the starlight room in drakes hotel... its one of the oldest lounge rooms in sf.... concierge recommended!! it wasnt bad... middle aged crowd... got bored then went to this bar on 36th floor in hilton...nice younger crowd... then went to supper club...the night club. Hung around till 2... bar closed and i came back...
Seattle was usual... landed sunday evening, went to parlour room (yeh the regular pool place hangout in bellevue square!!)... same old hottie waitresses in backless 1 piece dresses... some of the usuals were not there, maybe coz it was sunday. Sat on the bar for the first time here and had a damn good pizza for dinner.
Back to the room, 3 meetings next day, and flight back home... preponed the return by 2 days...
Must say it was one of the lousier trips abroad.... was glad to be back home...
2 days home and then a hurried trip to Goa... well u will say r u mad ? Goa in june? yeh Goa in june... was nice... not crowded, cool with some rain.. few nice places like Brittos and Souza lobo open with decent good lloking crowd... isnt that why we go to goa???
3 days were good to recoupe and kick back the spirits and the darkness.... back home on monday late afternoon... we had put ginger at the kennel... she has picked up a few ticks... first time... need to get her cleaned...
ok..here are a few goa pics tho... couldnt click any in vegas... sowwie!! i tried the auto exposure for the first time on my digicam... it has a longer exposure time, especially at night. Some goood pics, as good almost as an SLR....
